3 Days Safari in Tarangire & Ngorongoro crater.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 00.

Pick up at Kilimanjaro airport/Arusha airport and drive to Arusha for dinner and Overnight sleep.

Day 1. Arusha to Tarangire national park.

After morning breakfast, we will depart for a full day game drive in Tarangire national park(The drive
will take 2 hours). Tarangire is the home of the big elephants and baobab trees that makes sun rise
awesome in this park. A full day game drive here will give you unlimited wildlife sighting with a
modified land cruiser that gives a panoramic view. Also this park has big cats like lion, leopard and
cheetah. A plenty of wildlife will cover your safari path while cruising in this park. In the Lunch time,
we will enjoy our lunch at Matete picnic site.
After lunch we will depart for an evening game drive in the park and then later drive to karatu for
dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2. Karatu to Ngorongoro crater .

After hot breakfast we will start our drive to Ngorongoro crater which will take us around 30
minutes from karatu. Before getting to crater we will be driving through rainforest and which will
take more than 40 minutes.
On arrival at the ngorongoro crater, we will start our morning drive in this majestic caldera and
spend our whole day here. Here you will be looking for black rhino(Which is endangered in
Tanzania). Also, big cats especially lion are common here as the place offers endless plain less
compared to serengeti national park.
We will enjoy our lunch at the picnic in ngorongoro(Lerai or Isoitoktok).
After lunch, we will depart for an evening drive looking hippos and elephants along dams and many
other marsh areas.
Later we will drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 3. Karatu to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport(Cultural tour in maasai boma stop over).

This will be departure date, we will drive through Mto wa mbu where we will stop for some hours
for maasai cultural tour and then keep driving to Arusha/Kilimanjaro for departure.
