Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Arusha Overnight at the Charity Hotel

Day 2. Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, we’ll head straight to Tarangire for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is well known for its vast plain, which is similar to the Serengeti and is home to hundreds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and other animal species such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Later in the evening, we will drive to Karatu for an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge.

Day 3. Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After a hot breakfast in Octagon, we will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive will take 4 hours to get to the main gate, where we will enjoy a packed lunch before starting a game drive in central Serengeti. The Serengeti is the best place to see the wildebeest migration (but not in October) that starts in central Serengeti and moves toward Mara via the Grumeti and Mara rivers. Apart from that, in the central Serengeti, you’ll enjoy lion sightings as their population increases every single day. Leopards come across sausage trees in the central Serengeti looking for good shelter and camouflage. After a long evening drive, we will drive to Narudi Camp for overnight sleep and dinner.

Day 4: Full-day Serengeti game drive

On this day, we will have enough time to enjoy a slow and relaxing game drive along the river as well as look for predators.  A full-day game drive has a lot to offer from morning to evening. It’s like reading every chapter of the book in just one day. Another magnificent phenomenon is the Serengeti sunset, which will make you feel the hand of God.
Overnight at Narudi Camp

Day 5. Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater.

Wake up early in the morning to find a good spot for a sunrise watch. After sunrise, we will enjoy the game en route to the main gate for checkout, and then we will drive directly to Ngorongoro for a game drive. Ngorongoro is the home of the endangered black rhino and black dogs. This magical caldera offers a wide range of wildlife sightings, including the queen and king of The Pit (a lion and lioness).
Later, after the game drive, we will drive up from the crater to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning, you’ll enjoy a hot breakfast at the lodge and then drive to Manyara National Park. Here you’ll get to see something amazing, the tree-climbing lion as well as a thousand species of water birds. Also, the hot springs inside the park are something that you won’t want to miss during the game drive.
After a full-day game drive in Manyara, we will drive to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 7. Mto wa Mbu cultural tours.

Mto wa Mbu is well known for its authentic cultural activities like Maasai dancing. These Maasai activities will last 2 hours, after which you will drive directly to Arusha for a hot lunch and an overnight stay at the hotel.
